Happy Easter 2009!

Easter morning 2009 started off with an incredible Easter Egg Hunt! The kids loved it! Then, we had a blast opening the three Easter baskets. Ethan loved his new Superman pajamas with cape, a Yo Gabba Gabba book, and his cool Spiderman sunglasses. Kami couldn't put down her 3 baby rubber duckies and her new book about Kitties which now has to be read to her daily. Adriauna, although she played it pretty cool, loves her new Edward poster (from the movie Twilight.) She also received some pretty cool gear for her new bike. You can see all of this and more in our videos from Easter morning linked just below. Also, see our "Easter 2009" slideshow on the right side of the screen for Easter pictures.

Is it a boy? . . . Is it a girl? . . . NO! It's SHINGLES!!

It's been an exciting past week for me with my new friend, Shingles. In case you don't know exactly what it is like I didn't when they told me, it's pretty much Chicken Pox - Round 2. While I cannot give shingles to anyone, I can give Chicken Pox to those who haven't had it yet if they come in direct contact with the Shingles. So, my work wanted me to cover it up to protect the other employees. So, you can see a picture of my slight "redness" from the Shingles above as well as my new work uniform (beanie cap.)

16 weeks and growing!

Here I am at 16 weeks pregnant with baby #4! Sometimes it takes seeing a picture of yourself to see how big your actually getting. I have a little lump.............Yay! I am so excited to get bigger. After all, it is the only time in life that I'll be able to get excited about my tummy getting bigger.

16 weeks

Wow, 16 weeks already! I can't believe how fast this last 4 weeks went by. The first 12 weeks were really awful I must admit. I was tired and sick and was in what I like to call survival mode. Poor Adriauna, Mike, Ethan and Kami. I made dinner some nights but there were a lot of nights that Mike and Adriauna were fending for themselves and ramen noodles and mac and cheese should have gotten old. Clean clothes were scarce and by the weekends we had two overflowing laundry baskets of dirty clothes. Mike is such a wonderful husband and he never complained about the laundry or lack of home cooked dinners. Mike has never been a complainer but this would have been the time to start and I could not have blamed him. He always surprises me for the better! He did laundry, ironing and the sewing. He does the ironing and sewing in our house hold as it is. He is amazing. My children watched more tv than I would have ever thought I would have allowed in that 12 weeks. Adriauna would watch the babies when she got home from school so I could take a shower the mornings I was to sick to do it before she got home. Needless to say it was the hardest first trimester I have had. Thank Goodness it is over. Now, I barely feel pregnant at all and although I have felt the baby move already, I find myself worrying when I haven't felt the baby in while and anticipating for the time when feeling the baby move regularly is expected. Yeah, those who know me aren't surprised to hear that I am worrying because they know that is how I have always been. I am so blessed to have such a beautiful family. I am so happy that I feel so much better now! I am very surprised to see that ramen noodles is still on the grocery list and is often an after school snack for Adriauna. Tomorrow at some point, I suppose there will be a picture of my growing tummy for all to see. I have a little lump now and I guess it's something people who don't see me often are anxious to see. So, come take a look at my 16 week picture tomorrow for those who are interested.
