We celebrated Mikes 30th birthday today with a steak dinner and a cake that the kids decorated!
It was just too cute how Ethan and Kamryn helped Daddy blow out the candles!

Brooke at 9 months!
Brooke is now 9 months old and she is rolling around and scooting everywhere. She has only crawled a couple inches here and there so it is really surprising to see her start on one side of the room and end up on the other. I guess she still knows how to get around where she wants by scooting and rolling!
I took Brooke in for her 9 month check up and she is doing great! I had Ethan and Kamryn with me for the appointment. Ethan has a lot of anxiety about Brooke getting her shots so he covered his ears when she got her pokes. Afterward, he was quick to try and distract Brooke to help her stop crying by making silly faces and noises. I tried to tell him that she just needed hugs, kisses and lots of Love. However, it turned out that his crazy faces and weird noise did just the trick! Ethan is such a great big brother and I am so proud of him stepping up and making his sister feel better.

Memorial weekend!
We went to French Regional Park for a picnic and play with the Pientka cousins and Grandma Julie! The playground there was really neat made up of nets to climb through. Ethan followed his older cousin Derek around everywhere. He loves to do everything Derek does. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be going back! After the park Ethan and Kami enjoyed some time in the pool in the backyard while Brooke took a nap and Adriauna rested. We could not have asked for a better Memorial Weekend!!
