Field Day at School

Ethan's Preschool held a "Field Day" where they had different outdoor activities such as t-ball and relay races for the kids. Ethan absolutely loved all the sports and I had no idea how competitive he was until watching him. I am so glad parents were invited to watch our kids in this event. They encouraged the kids to cheer for each other which I really felt taught the kids to be good sports. It is so much fun to be the Mom of a Preschooler:-)

This was the highlight for Ethan: Tug of War against the other Preschool class. Check out Ethan's determined face. Afterwards, Ethan kept asking "Mom, did we win?" even after I told him several times "Yes Ethan"

Mothers Day Tea

Ethan's Preschool put on a "Mothers Day Tea Party" for all the Moms to come and have lemonade and muffins with our children and celebrate Mother's Day. I have to say that this was one of the best Mothers Day presents I have recieived. We walked in to a beautifully decorated room complete with flowers, table cloths, teacups, home made decorations and treats. Ethan was standing in front of a chair and had me sit down with him and enjoy the treats provided. He gave me an adorable card and a portrait he made of me. We watched a dvd/slideshow of different events the class has had and had a picture taken of Ethan and I by a photographer that we can pick up later. Ethan was really happy and excited to have me all to himself for this celebration as was I. I am the luckiest Mama in the world :-)

Tammy's Wedding

Adriauna and I were in my best friend Tammy's wedding over the weekend. I have known Tammy since we were in pregnancy school together in 1996. Tammy and I always joke about her daughter, Hannah and Adriauna being friends since they were fetus'. I was asked to be a Bridesmaid and Adriauna a Jr. Bridesmaid in Tammy's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and everything turned out perfect just as Tammy deserved :-)

24 Weeks....quite a few more to go!

I am 24 weeks along in this picture and have quite a few more weeks to go! I am feeling great and have a big appetite, but really, that is not much different from when I am not pregnant. I have been feeling Brandon move a lot now and I am enjoying every second of it. At my next Dr. appointment I will be having the standard gestational diabetes test done. This is where I am required to drink a sugary pop like drink and then they draw some blood to see whether I have gestational diabetes.

Easter Day!

The kids woke up early Easter morning to find eggs hidden all over the living room and their Easter Baskets on the kitchen table. They each had their breakfast and a chocolate easter bunny for dessert of course. They played with their Easter basket toys and then we headed to church. After church our family headed to my sister Donna's for dinner and another exciting Easter Egg hunt. We had a very exciting and busy day.

And his name is.........

We have chosen a name for our sweet little baby. His name is Brandon Ray Olson. We love him so much already. We had another ultrasound last week and we got to see little Brandon moving around. It is always emotional when you can finally see the little baby that has been moving around inside you up on the screen during an ultrasound. Brandon is very active and loves to kick. I hope you enjoy the ultrasound pics. I get so excited looking at them and thinking that we will be holding him in our arms by the end of the summer.
